With the risk of COVID-19 outbreaks,activities for ASTEROID have accelerated and training extended to cover COVID-19. The project has delivered remote trainings to health workers across all 13 districts of the country on how to triage individuals with potential COVID-19 infections and effectively quarantine in health facility settings. United States Pharmacopeia Regulatory Laboratory Capacity Strengthening Project will ensure the national drug quality laboratories of Cambodia and Laos will be strengthened to international laboratory standards with the necessary capacity and functionality to conduct drug quality testing.
